Προσωπικά έχω κάποιες ενστάσεις και δεν συμφωνώ 100% με αυτήν την λίστα, αλλά δεν θα πάμε κόντρα και στο Rolling Stone. Μέσα στο top 5 φυσικά υπάρχουν οι Black Keys με τον ‘Turn Blue’, Bruce Springsteen με το ‘High Hopes’, οι U2 με το ‘Songs of Innocence’, St. Vincent ‘St. Vincent’ και η Miranda Lambert ‘Platinum’. Όπου την κορυφή της λίστας την κατέκτησαν οι U2 με το πολυσυζητημένο άλμπουμ ‘Songs of Innocence’, το οποίο δεν πιστεύω ότι μπορεί να θεωρηθεί Το καλύτερο άλμπουμ του ’14 γιατί αντικειμενικά οι U2 έχουν βγάλει πολύ καλύτερα και επίσης υπάρχουν καλύτερα άλμπουμ που άνετα θα είχαν την 1η θέση (αλλά νταξ!).
Επίσης στην 10η θέση συναντάμε την Taylor Swift με το ‘1989’, δέχομαι το γεγονός ότι υπάρχει στην λίστα με τα καλύτερα τραγούδια του 2014 αλλά η 10η θέση είναι πολύ. Από την άλλη οι Alt-J με το ‘This is All Yours’ είναι στην 27η θέση, που δεν ήταν για 27 και ούτε ο Leonard Cohen με το ‘Popular Problems’ είναι για την 24η. Στην 7η θέση συναντάμε (το Λανάκι) την Lana Del Rey με το ‘Ultraviolence’ που είναι πολύ καλή θέση (αντικειμενικά!). Και επίσης οι Röyksopp δεν βρίσκονται καν στην λίστα.
